Relay Therapeutics, Inc. (“Relay”) and Medpace, Inc., Relay’s contract research organization and its affiliates (“Medpace”) (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”) cares about your privacy and has developed this Privacy Policy to describe the information we collect, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices, in connection with your use of this website (the “Website”).

Before using the Website or submitting any Personal Data to us, please review this Privacy Policy carefully and contact us if you have any questions. By using the Website, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Website.

If you have entered into a separate agreement with us that governs our handling of Personal Data, that separate agreement shall control, and only those terms within this Privacy Policy that do not conflict with such separate agreement shall apply.

1.     Personal Data We Collect

We collect two types of information from users of our Website: “Personal Data,” which is information that can be used to identify you (such as your name or phone number), and “aggregate information,” which is information that cannot be used to identify you (such as frequency of visits to our Website and your browser type).

Personal Data You Provide: We collect Personal Data from you when you elect to interact with us through the Website. The Personal Data we collect varies depending on what you choose to share, but it may include your name, email, company name, and telephone number.

We also collect information when you communicate with us. The specific types of information we collect will depend on the forum in which you communicate with us.  For example, if you send us an email, we will collect your email address and the content of your email.

Internet Activity Data: When you visit, use, and interact with the Website, we may receive certain information about your visit, use, or interactions. For example, we may monitor the number of people that visit the Website, peak hours of visits, which page(s) are visited, the domains our visitors come from, and which browsers people use to access the Website, broad geographical information, and navigation pattern. In particular, the following information is created and automatically logged in our systems:

Cookies: Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your device’s hard drive through your web browser to help us identify you when you come to our Website. You have choices with respect to cookies. By modifying your browser preferences, you have the choice to accept all cookies, to be notified when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies you may be unable to use those aspects of our Website that require registration in order to participate. You can learn more about cookies and how they work at www.allaboutcookies.org. You can always disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so, however, may disable certain features on our Website. You can opt-out from third party cookies that are used for advertising purposes on the NAI website at https://www.networkadvertising.

Pixels: A pixel is a tiny image that may be embedded within web pages and emails, requiring a call (which provides device and visit information) to our and our third-party service providers’ servers in order for the pixel to be rendered in those web pages and emails. We use pixels to learn more about your interactions with email content or web content, such as whether you interacted with ads or posts. Pixels can also enable us and third parties to place cookies on your browser.

Interest-Based Advertising:  We may also participate in interest-based advertising.  This means that you may see advertising on our Website tailored to how you browse, or you may see advertising for Relay on other websites based on your browsing behavior across websites.  Some websites where we may advertise belong to ad networks that use your web browsing history to choose which ads to display on their network websites; these ads include advertising for Relay.  Other websites where you see our ads may use interest preferences that you have chosen on those sites, as well as registration and other information about you, to choose which ads to display to you. Some internet browsers, websites and mobile devices offer opt-outs for interest-based advertising. Please refer to the website that you are visiting, your browser and/or your device settings for additional information.

You can opt-out of receiving interest-based ads from third parties who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) or who follow the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising by visiting the opt-out pages on the NAI website (https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/) and DAA website (https://www.aboutads.info/choices/).

We may also use cookies, pixels, beacons, or other web tracking technologies to track the amount of time spent on our Website or social media and whether or not certain content, such as a video was viewed. We may work with a third party to collect and process this information for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy.

Session Replay:  We may use session replay technologies on our Website.  Session replay is the reproduction of a user’s interactions on a website or web application exactly or as close as possible to how the user actually experienced it. These technologies store users’ digital interactions on websites and apps down to the individual clicks, taps, scrolls, mouse movements, etc. to create a DVR-like reproduction of those experiences.  We use these technologies for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to, user support, debugging errors, optimization, and analysis.

Do Not Track Signals: Our Website currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.
